Honest Seeking
“And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”
(Isaiah 25:9)

I must declare, if I were to die for it this moment and to appear before Christ, that if any of you say you seek and cannot find, it is because you are not simple and honest. It is an old, stale excuse to say, “No man can quicken his own soul.”
“They who seek shall find” (Luke 11:10) – this is a truth. “Yea, let God be true, but every man a liar” (Romans 3:4). Therefore if you go on from year to year and never get deliverance, God will never bear the blame for this.
