1) He is absolutely sure that God the Father chose him, in Christ, unto salvation before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1)
2) He is absolutely sure that Christ came into this world to live perfectly (as a man) before the holy law of God. (John 1)
3) He is absolutely sure that the perfect life that Christ lived is now, and shall forever be, charged to his account. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
4) He is absolutely sure that the guilt of his sin and rebellion has been dealt with in a substitute (Christ, God’s Lamb) (2 Corinthians 5:21) and shall never be charged to his own account. (2 Timothy 1:12)
5) He is absolutely sure that God the Father is satisfied with all that His Son has accomplished (for the elect) because three days after the death of Christ, the Father raised Him from the grave. (John 20:9)
6) He is absolutely sure that even though men scoff at this blessed Gospel, not one word shall return void unto Him Who cannot lie. (Isaiah 55:11)
