It is concerning the ANCIENT OF DAYS becoming flesh.
It is not concerning a sweet little baby Jesus rag doll lying in a manger.
The incarnation of Christ is God the Father sending His Son, made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem His elect.
The coming of our Lord and Redeemer into this world is about God being made flesh and subjecting Himself to the scornful and ill treatment of fallen humanity, upholding and fulfilling the law of God in true righteousness and holiness, and finally being made sin and undergoing the wrath of God as His people’s substitute.
Christ being born into this world is concerning the manifestation of the glory of God. This man come into the world to do the will of the Father, and that He did, in every aspect. He successfully and perfectly accomplished all that God sent him to do.
The way that religion pictures the Lord Jesus Christ at Christmas time is nothing short of paganism. Of this we should not be surprised, because this is the little jesus that most folks worship 365 days a year.
The child of God worships the Incarnate Christ in Spirit and in truth, all the time. He is not a baby in a manger, hidden away in a closet somewhere all year long, and then dragged out and made a spectacle of one day a year.
He is clothed in Royal apparel, seated in regal majesty and great glory at the Right Hand of God, in power and great glory.
