Mercy Found
Nothing soothes the regenerated heart of a believer more than considering the mercy of God.
Try to contemplate the depth of His mercy and I am lost in my inadequacies.
How merciful has God been to me?
The very word “mercy” has a sound of hope.
It means to have compassion, sympathy, tenderness, clemency, leniency, charity, to yearn over, to pity, to melt the heart.
O, the wonder of desiring that God would have a heart for me.
To consider that somehow mercy could be found for me at the expense of God’s own Son.
O, the depth and the wonder of His mercy!
