Life and Conduct of a Gospel Minister
“Before a man can preach the spirit of the gospel, his life
and conduct must be according to it; and most gospel preachers fall short in
this respect. It is the cross we are inclined to shun. But we shall bear it, if
we are Christ’s ministers, and then our walk will be quite contrary to the
world.”
