Seek the Wisdom of Christ
“And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.”
(I Kings 4:34)
Solomon’s wisdom was famous throughout the earth. Even the royalty of other nations recognized his greatness and came to learn of Him. When talking about Solomon’s wisdom, Jesus said of Himself, “Behold, a greater than Solomon is here” (Matthew 12:42).
Many today, even the royalty of our age, will flock to certain “wisdoms” in the world, but are quick to reject the wisdom of Jesus Christ.
But oh, how all people, from kings to common people, need to sit and hear the wisdom of Christ!
His wisdom is complete. It is valuable. It is all that we need.
Some in Solomon’s day made long, dusty travels just to hear his wisdom.
