“Now to me the principle still applies” You are correct, the principle does still apply. Christ gave to the apostles the “keys to the kingdom” and in writing the gospels and the books of the new testament, they have passed on those keys to them that would enter into the kingdom, the preaching of the Gospel, the knowledge and understanding of the things of God. Even in the old testament, those who went beyond what God had said perished. Example: Nadab and Abihu who offered “strange fire before the Lord which he commanded them not”. This does not mean that God told them not to do what they did. It means they took it upon themselves to do something God had not commanded. In the construction industry, if you are a carpenter, you build according to specifications. The foreman of the crew insures this is done. If you take it upon yourself to make alterations, he’s going to get upset about you ‘experimenting on my job’ he might say. The principle is this: There is one authority. Anything that adds to or subtracts from that authority, even on our jobs is prohibited. Would we add to or subtract from a drivers manual, do it our way and expect to pass our own, made up answers to be accepted? Would we do that on a high school or college exam? The principle involved is respect. After Nadab and Abihu were punished, Lev 10:3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. (KJV) God is saying, in a nutshell version, that He will be set apart, glorified, (respected and honored as Holy). He does not tolerate people experimenting on His job, so to speak. If men and women had the same respect for the word of God that we do for a drivers manual, a math text book, our standards of measurement, traffic laws and hundreds of other things that we accept without effort to try and add to or take from, there would be no religious division in the “Christian” world.

Excellent sermon. Straight to the point. Like how he speaks against the nonsense of Revivalism, the gimmickery of easy-believeism, making sinners appear to be something that they are not.

Good one with the world. The Lamb was for the world of heavenly Jewry. If John the Baptist had said “Behold the man that taketh away the sin of the world,” in stead of “Lamb,” then the world would be meant, Christ taking away the sin of the entire world. Lamb synonimous with Jewry, sacrificed for those who are the true Jews (Rom.2.28,29), within the heavenly Israel of God.

Why do Anglican churches say they believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostolic church, yet are involved in Freemasonry?

It’s strange. I’m a christian myself and go to an anglican church in ireland. I must admit that I would never have anything to do with Freemasonry because it foundation in not built on Christ Jesus.

Dear Padah,

What I can say without wavering in response to your 2 messages and questions is this. You absolutely should depart from and have nothing to do with any “gnostic” synagogues of Satan.

The Word of God is very clear that we are not to fellowship with the wicked enemies of Almighty God such as gnositcs even if your husband insisted that you join with him.

Psalm 26:4
I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

Psalm 26:5
I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

If your husband accepts that you desire to fellowship with other Christians and allows you to do so, then you are in a good situation.

What might the Apostle John say to this wife, if her husband fellowship at the Gnostic church and she wanted to fellowship under Apostle Peter ? Is she in sin or in error for brazenly going to the healthy church or is she leading her husband to a church? is it wrong of her to lead him out to another fellowship and is this a reversal of order in marriage order?
One of her reasonings she falls to is the example of Sarah, Abrahams wife. Sarah trusted in God and did as her husband told her, even though he was in gross error for false representation and instructing Sarah to misrepresent herself, yet God protected Sarah and dealt with the ones who would do her harm.
So, this wife wonders if this applies in returning to a fellowship that is theologically incorrect, that is vainglorious and that manipulates, coerces and offers her no real solid ground.

If you can have any thought on this or if you know of a passage of scripture that is indicative of what is wisdom in this issue, i would appreciate that, and will pass it on to her,

What might you say to a wife, who has healed from severe spiritual abuse and seeks a fellowship among healthy christians and sound doctrinal teaching, if she feels she needs to worship in a different fellowship apart from her husband? He has said okay to her need to do so, yet, at times, she has been tangled in trying to understand if she is at liberty scripturally to go to a fellowship that does not coerce her, manipulate her, or keep her spinning in turmoil. Her godly counselor she sees does not want her to return to the church her husband attends, yet, she herself comes back time and time again to the way it ‘ought’ to be…she ‘should’ be with her husband in worship and fellowship. She is confused to say the least. What is your opinion on this?

And because of this, the country is full of psychological converts, who soon revert back to their old lifestyles!

Before a man can look for Salvation, he must be know that he is Lost!

Amen. What an honest look at the “true” life of a born-again believer! Thank you for penning it brother Thomas Bradbury! May it help us all grow in our faith so we are not tossed around by “every wind of doctorine” and become more mature in our faith with complete humility and Love for God and others! What a refreshing writting to the soul who enters the suffering’s of Christ. great interpretation, i felt it was truth and yes i agree steve the two witnesses need more clarity for understanding for those who may not understand that we as people chosen of god by grace are also individual olive trees and are all in Christ and grafted in.
